My Adventures

Day 1 & 2

June 15th & 16th, 2009

We left from Sky Harbor Airport on Monday the 15th. We were the last ones from our group to get there because I {like always} procrastinated and didn't pack till the night before. Luckily we didn't have to get up too early or I woud have died.

Anyways we had a one hour flight from Phoenix to Denver. Then an almost 10 hour flight from Denver to Frankfur, Germany. And from there a not even one hour flight from Frankfur to Zurich, Switzerland.

{The flight to Zurich was my favorite! Why you ask? Because we didn't get peanuts or pretzels, we got swiss chocolate!!}

When we landed at the airport we met our Tour Director {TD} Daniel. We were supposed to get the last group too but the were still in Detroit. {haha suckers!} So we all loaded up on the bus and headed to pick up the other 2 groups & then head to our hotel.

{Switzerland was by far the prettiest!! It was so green! And we learned that they cut the grass by hand everyday so that its fresh for the cows!}

After dinner we roamed down the street a little bit to find a pay phone so that we could call our mom, we didn't have any luck...but here are some cool pics from our walk..

Day 3

June 17th, 2009

After our day in Lucerne we took a boat to head to our excursion to Mount Pilatus. Our TD had to leave to go get the long lost college group, so we joined up with another EF Tour group so their director could help us out :) And after we got off the boat we had time to chill...

We took a cog train up to Mount Pilatus. At some points we were headed up the mountain at a 50 degree angle! It was kinda scarey! haha

So gondola rides back down the mountain were not fun!! I didn't like being up that high!! And Katie, and Megan and my dad had fun making fun of me the whole way down. And we came to the first stop and we all got out {me being the first one out} and we realized we got off at the wrong one....
